Business Brochure Printing
PrintFirm’s business brochures can be printed on thinner 100 lb. gloss text paper or thicker 14-point card stock with an option for a shiny UV-coating that protects against dirt and moisture, or a non-UV coating that has more of a matte look.
There are six size options available for business brochure printing that range from 8.5” by 11” to 11” by 25.5”. You can select a flat brochure or choose from one of three folding options: the half-fold, tri-fold, and Z-fold. Scoring can be added to each of these folding options. Scoring is a mechanical crease added during business brochure printing that allows for a better-looking fold.
The following tips for business brochure printing should help you achieve your brochure campaign goals.
-
Proof-check it! If PrintFirm’s graphic artists are handling your business brochure design, it’s a good idea to request electronic proofing from the website drop-down menu when you place your order. After we finish your design, we send you a PDF file showing the artwork, text, crop marks, and fold/score lines (if any). This gives you a last opportunity to proofread the design before it is loaded into the printing machine.
-
Leave enough bleed space Offset printers such as PrintFirm require a margin of error during the brochure cutting process. This is known as bleed space, and it ensures that you get consistent quality with your entire business brochure printing order. Extend your design about 1/8” from the design borders.
- Order in bulk If you can, make one large bulk order instead of several smaller orders for business brochure printing. Offset printers such as PrintFirm require initial resources for the job setup, but once the design is loaded into the printing machine, the cost per copy decreases as the number of copies increases.
