PrintFirm’s business flyers are available in the following standard sizes: 5.5” X 8.5”, 8.5” X 11”, 8.5” X 14”, 9” X 12”, and 11” X 17”. With business flyer printing, you have an option to print on the front or both sides. Paper choices include a thinner 100 lb. gloss text or a thicker 14-point card stock with an option for a glossy UV coating, a finish that offers protection from dirt and moisture. A matte finish is also available for business flyers that is easier to write on with a pen or pencil.

The following business flyer printing tips should help you achieve success with your flyer campaign.

1. If you are involved with direct mail marketing for your business flyers, it is wise to choose a printing company such as PrintFirm that can address your flyers as they are being printed, saving you time and money.
    
2. Leave room for bleed. Offset printing companies such as PrintFirm require a margin of error during the cutting process in order to ensure consistent quality results. This is also known as bleed space. Extend your business flyer design about 1/8” past the design borders.
    
3. Use high-resolution images for business flyer printing. PrintFirm recommends a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch). Lower resolutions may look fine on your computer screen, but the printed result will be a fuzzy mess. Use caution when adapting online images because they are typically low resolution. To check the DPI of an image file, open it in a reputable graphic design program and view the file details.
    
4. Ask for bulk business flyer printing. Offset printers such as PrintFirm require initial resources to setup your job, but once the design is loaded in the printing machine, the cost per copy decreases as the number of copies increase.
