You have the option of a glossy UV coating that is resistant to dirt and moisture, or a non-UV matte coating that is easier to write on with a pen or pencil.

We also have high gloss finishes on our plastic business cards and magnetic business cards. All of PrintFirm’s plastic cards are made of flexible 20-point plastic. The frosted plastic cards have a similar appearance to a frosted window, and the clear cards allow light to pass through. The magnetic business cards can be tacked up on the fridge or any metal surface such as an office filing cabinet or metal window trim.

Pay attention to contrast issues when designing glossy business cards. Since light reflects off them, they should be easy to read even in bright light conditions. Dark-colored text on a dark background and light-colored text on a light background is a design mistake. If you don’t feel comfortable designing your own glossy business cards, you have the option to let our talented in-house graphic artists design a card.
