By now most of you have probably seen the alert message on our site about upgrading our equipment. We want you all to know that we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience. Just in case you missed the alert status bar, please note that same day and next day orders are on hold from March 18th, 2013 until Wednesday, March 27th, 2013. We also wish to reassure you that we would never disrupt our services without good reason.

We’re pleased to announce that the current processing delay is a result of our new equipment upgrade! Please welcome the Xerox iGen4 Digital Press to the PrintFirm family! We are very excited to offer higher quality commercial printing solutions through this remarkable green technology. The iGen4 will replace our trusty Xerox Color 800; the super powered iGen4 will be up and running by the middle of next week. This model comes packed with auto color accuracy checks as well as density correction for precision graphic accuracy. Our environmentally conscious customers will be pleased to learn that the iGen4 utilizes ecofriendly inks, prints on recycled paper, and produces no hazardous waste whatsoever. Approximately 97% of its parts are recyclable, so there will be no issues with disposal.

We hope you’re all as excited as we are about this development. As soon as we’re able to print enough samples and get used to the process, we will post a detailed review of this product. Our review will be a lot better with YOUR input, so please let us know what you think of your next printing project. We value your feedback, and keep your comments in mind when we evaluate our policies along with our services. We’ll see you on the other side of the digital revolution!
