Copy machines have their uses, but occasionally if you want a simple copy of text and perhaps a signature, carbonless forms are the best choice. Another name for carbonless forms is NCR, an acronym for "no carbon required". They are biodegradable and do not stain fabrics like traditional carbon forms. They work by using the pressure of a writing device such as a pen or pencil, and this pressure creates a chemical reaction between coatings on the NCR forms. We carry loose NCR forms and booklet NCR forms. All of our carbonless form printing is on 20 lb. carbonless paper. PrintFirm"s loose NCR forms are available in the following three sizes: 5.5" x 8.5", 8.5" x 11" and 8.5"x 14". You have the option of NCR paper with two-part or three-part copies. You have 10 color choices for the first color and 9 color choices for the second color. You also have an option to number the pages.
Our booklet NCR forms are edge-glued for sturdy but flexible performance. The last sheet is printed on heavy card stock. The booklet size choices are 5.5" x 9" and 8.5 x 11.5". Color and numbering options are the same as the loose NCR forms.

PrintFirm recommends that you avoid cluttering the NCR form design. Too much text bunched together will be messy and the font might be too small, making each form too difficult to read. Select a larger NCR form size if you must include more text. This will offer enough whitespace (area without design) so that the design looks professional.
Proofread the text carefully before proceeding with carbonless form printing. One text mistake can ruin an entire printing run of NCR forms. This is especially true if you are using the forms to collect document signatures. If a signed form contains a crucial mistake, it may invalidate the signature entirely, or the person will not want to sign the form based on that mistake.
