Be certain that all of your catalog printing images that you upload to PrintFirm have a resolution of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch). Lower resolutions may look fine on your computer screen, but once they are printed out, the result is typically a blurry mess. Use caution when downloading images found on the internet because they are generally low resolution. To check the DPI measure for an image, open the file in a reputable graphics program and make a note of the file details.
For product catalogs, use well-written product descriptions. These should be short but informative. Avoid crowding too many products together on one page. This looks unprofessional and distracts the reader. Product photos should be large, giving the potential customer a better idea of product appearance.
